IN BETWEEN is an experimental documentary about the fragile line between life and death. The director’s life has been shaped by a kidney transplant, dialysis, and ongoing health challenges. His story connects with the experiences of three mothers and their stories of birth, miscarriage, and abortion. Together, they show different forms of love, loss, and strength.

The film moves through hospital corridors, living rooms, and personal archives. It explores the thin boundary between life and death. Rezal shares the story of her child who was born with a fatal illness. Shohreh speaks about abortion, infertility, and the deep wish to care for a child. Their honest and intimate voices bring the viewer into very personal worlds, reflecting on choices, loss, and the lasting power of love.
